Vernon left this world on December 5, 2024 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Curnutte and Eva Curnutte; his wife Linda Curnutte; his grandson Scott Curnutte; his son-in-law Dwayne Brooks; and his great grandchildren, Tanner Dillon and Rylie Dinovo.

He is survived by: his children, Vernon "Jimmy" Curnutte (Becky), Karen Macioce (Larry), Norma Jeffery (Joe), Teresa Roberts, Tammy Brooks, Vicki Snyder, Michelle Williams and Dwayne Curnutte (Kelly); his sister Shirley Bricker; his children, Miles Snyder, Timothy Sherman and Skilar Sherman; and his niece Tina Linley.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Newcomer Sw Chapel (3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Concord Cemetery (6244 Hoover Rd, Grove City, OH 43123).
