Verna Salyer Obituary

In the vast expanse of eternity, Verna shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Verna farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Pennington and Beulah Jenkins; her husband Ollie F. Salyer; and her son Ollie E. Salyer. She is survived by: her children, Lora Johnson (Doug), Glenda "Sue" Pfadt (Mike) and Steve Salyer (Lajuana Gilliam). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer - Southwest Chapel (3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at the Sunset Cemetery (6959 W Broad St, Galloway, OH 43119).
