He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Buechner and Shirley Buechner; his wife Carol Buechner; and his siblings, Mary Settles, JoAnn Dotson, Sharon Moore and Ricky Buechner.

He is survived by: his son Anthony R. Buechner (Carey Gill); his grandchildren, Katherine and Matthew Buechner; his siblings, Suzan Rice and Martin Dillinger (Diana); and his close friend Ray Shaner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; best friend.
