He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Hield and Paul Hield; and his siblings, Phyllis Berlin, Richard Hield and Marlene Van Eck.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne; his children, Linda Malysa, Melissa Strong (Jeffery), Tiffany Kotek (Tom) and Scott Hield (Stacey); his brother Edgar Hield (Loretta); his brother-in-law Dr. Timothy O'Barski; and his grandchildren, Preston Malysa, Madison, Brooklyn, Paul Hield, Olivia Brain and Jordan Strong. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
