He is survived by: his wife Della Marie; his children, Robert A. Hammel (Patricia), Gary Hammel (Linda) and Janice Hammel; and his grandchildren, Scott Hammel (Shelia), Cheri Rawls, Mike Hammel (Laura), Mark Hammel (Kara), Yvonne Hilderbrand, Corissa Dyer and Heather Hammel.
