He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Sowers and Dora Sowers (Fowler) of Circleville, OH.; his wife Ardella Sowers (Thomas); his children, Deborah Gahn, Judith Gahn, Michael Sowers and Larry Sowers; his siblings, Issac, Marion, Kenneth, Wilson, Emma Jo Ruff and Vera Jean Riffe; his grandchildren, Joshua Sowers, Jason Gahn, Carrie Gahn and Ryan Sowers; and his great grandchildren, Isabelle Sowers, Kaylee Sowers and Grayson Zachary Gahn.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Reese (Allen) of Grove City, OH; his sons-in-law, John Gahn of Grove City, OH and Charles Gahn of Columbus, OH; and his grandchildren, Tony Bellisari (Casey), Lori Gahn (Rob), Charlie Gahn (Wendy), Steven Sowers (Walter), Johnny Gahn, Jacob Gahn (Chelsey), Rachel Gahn (James), Tiffany Gahn, Michael Sowers, David Sowers and Bobby Sowers. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Alton Cemetery (6333 Alkire Rd #6271, Galloway, OH 43119).
