Pleas Roland Thornton Jr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2021, at the age of 56, Pleas Roland Thornton Jr. of Grove City, Ohio, born in Gary, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Pleas Thornton and Charlotte Thornton (Buckingham); his sister Latina Joyce Thornton; and his grandparent Prenell. He is survived by: his wife Mary Thornton; his children, Gerard Johnson (Gladys), Dina Mitchell (Carlos), Felicia Jones (Robert), Aja Johnson (Jay) and Charlotte Thornton; and his brothers, Tommy Spencer (Tina) and Roland Thornton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to Wounded Warrior Project in his memory.
