He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Sheets; his daughter Virginia "Jennie" Riedy; and his siblings, Paul Sheets and Margaret Cave. He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Sheets (Christina) of Grove City and Phil Sheets (Diane) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Stephen Clifford Sheets, Scott O. Sheets (Jennifer), Elizabeth Westfall (Earl) of Dublin, Matthew David Riedy (Jessica) of Charleston, SC and Andrew Oliver; his great grandchildren, Logan Bear Sheets, Isabel Ann, Alexandra Elizabeth, Olivia Virginia, Cecilia Kathleen Westfall, Madeline Gail, Violet Karin Riedy and Hazel June Riedy; and his siblings, Ed Sheets and Kathleen Hoop. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to The GC United Methodist Church.
