He was predeceased by: his parents, John Braughton and Iona Braughton; his grandson James Stickel; and his siblings, John A. Braughton and Thelma Sylvester.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Braughton; his children, Carol Tirey, Bud Braughton (Julie), Joe Braughton (Jana), Sue Stickel (Matt) and Linda Ulrey (Scott); his siblings, Ed Braughton Sr. and Darlene Kauser; and his grandchildren, Josie, Caleb, Amanda, Angela, Ashley, Joran, Augist, Kaleigh, Kimberly, Kalista, Hannah, Austin, Joey, Anna, Alex, Jacob, Aubrey and Aven. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
