She was predeceased by: her parents, Joy Winters and Violet Winters (Shafer); her husband George "Mannie" Phelps; and her siblings, Jean, Sally and Jack.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Mitchell (Phillip) and Kirk Phelps; her grandsons, Tony Mitchell (Shaun) and Jeff Mitchell; and her sister Barbara. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
