He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Ball; his son Anthony "Sparky" Ball; his mother Nettie Newberry; and his sisters, Dovie and Julie.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Ball, Glenna Chaffin, Sharon Blumenschein (Joe), Leysa McGraw (Keith) and Sarah Ball; and his siblings, Shirley Owens (Clarence), Sam Ball (Barb), Kernos Ball, Harmon Ball (Carol) and Velva Thompson (Horace). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
