He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaines Strouse and Elizabeth Smith; his son Timmy L. Strouse; his granddaughter Kristina Frost; and his sisters, Judy Pratt and Rita Meloy.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia K. Strouse; his daughters, Patricia A. Strouse and Linda M. Nunley (Steven); his grandchildren, Jason Frost, Tyler Strouse, Tara Strouse, Brianna Murray and Jacob Nunley; his great grandchildren, Hannah Wonderly, Jacie Wonderly, Allison Frost, Justin Frost, Wyatt Anderson and Seth Rager Jr.; his siblings, Robert Strouse (Erlinda), Paul Hewitt (Clarice), Joe Hewitt, Ellen Young (Gary) and Kathy Salyers; and his brother-in-law Dave Pratt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
