He was predeceased by: his parents, William Townsend and Iris Townsend; his daughter Amber Lynn Townsend; and his parents-in-law, Don and Anita Reese.
He is survived by: his wife Sheri Townsend; his sons, Samuel Townsend (Amber), Benjamin Townsend (Afton), Donald Jacob (Delana) and Dennis Jacob (Heather); his brother Charles Townsend (Sherri); his brothers-in-law, Dan Reese (Kim) and Brian Reese (Jayne); and his uncle Phillip Valentine (Mary Ann). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
