She was predeceased by: her brother Daniel Layton Hein; her father Ned Eugene Collins, Sr. (Jean); and her friends, Bill Warner and Joan Morse. She is survived by: her mother Sonia Collins; her boyfriend James King; her children, Kaitlyn Guinn (Tripp), Courtney Ramirez (Jeff) and Rigel Ramirez Olmos; her grandsons, Xico Ramirez and Eli Guinn; her siblings, Debbie Palmer (Steve), Jerry Hein (Tiny), Robin Hein (Freda), Vernon "Buddy" Flowers (Flo) and Ned "Chip" Collins (Kathy); and her daughter Katie.
To honor Jean, donations can be made to Ohio Hospice, who assisted with Jean's end of life care exceptionally or to the Pancreatic Cancer Research Network, who provide valuable research and resources to families and patients with pancreatic cancer.
