He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hersel and Letha Yeater (Robison); and his siblings, Betty Yeater, Ray Yeater and Jim Yeater.

He is survived by: his sister Mary Covey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He would give generous donations to the Disabled Veterans of America and was proud to help that way.
