She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenz Ganshirt and Katherine Ganshirt (Fleig); her significant other Vincent DeVita; and her siblings, Ida Ganshirt and Lothar Ganshirt.

She is survived by: her children, Stephen DeVita (Marija) of Purcellville, VA, Michael DeVita (Marilyn) of Lima, OH, Carmen Long (Calvin) of Grove City, OH and Cynthia Gerhardt (Gary) of Ashville, OH; and her sister Leni Kuhner of Germany. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Gerard Catholic Church.
