She was predeceased by: her siblings, Kathryn Burns and John DeAngelo; her parents, Francis DeAngelo and Laura DeAngelo; and her foster parents, Paul, Marvel Grunenwald and Colleen Burns-Hall.
She is survived by: her sons, Pete Burns and Matt Burns (Margaret Chinn); her granddaughter Lilah Burns; her brother George DeAngelo; her foster siblings, Joe Grunenwald (Janice), Jim Grunenwald (Mickey) and Kathy Cochran (Jim); and also, Edward Burns, Pat Burns, Laura Hill, Lisa Burns, Amanda Burns and Melanie Burns.
