She was predeceased by: her son Paul Nelson; her grandparents, Jacob and Cecelia Green; her parents, Anita Petty and Robert Lowry; and her brother Bobby Lowry.
She is survived by: her husband Tommy; her children, Thomas and Elaine; her grandchildren, Justin Nelson, Aleah Davis and Richie Davis; and also Amelia Marie Nelson.
