He is survived by: his wife Ardith McCoy; his children, Sharon (Michael), Dianne (Doug), Yvonne (Joe), David (Lauren) and Stephen (Karen); and his siblings, Elishelah and Glen. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123). Viewing was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church (2213 White Rd, Grove City, OH 43123). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Concord Cemetery (6224 Hoover Rd, Grove City, OH 43123).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Duane's memory to Honor Flight, Children's Hospital, or Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.
