Dona Shields Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2025, at the age of 51, Dona Shields (Grove City, Ohio), born in Columbus, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband John Shields; her parents, James Toops, Sr. and Kathy Toops; her siblings, Bobbi Toops, Tina Porter and James Toops, Jr.; her children, Seth Toops, Sarah Case, Zackary Case, Ashlee Buckley and Mallory Penny; and her pet Sadie Lynn. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Even though Dona LOVED flowers, the family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be given to the Franklin County Humane Society in her memory.
