It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Derrick J. Bowermeister of Grove City, Ohio, born in Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on May 19, 2023, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Bob Bowermeister (Jean) of Grove City and Debbie Frank (Stumbo) of Springfield; his sons, Nate Sample and Jackson Bowermeister; his grandson Eli Sample; his siblings, Doug Bowermeister and Lauren Baldridge (Johnny); his fiancé McKensie E. Hinkle; and also Neo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to a college fund for his son, Jackson.
