He is survived by: his wife Connie Rodgers; his children, Sherry Root, Tangela Moore, Terri Beverly (James), Terina Essig Robin Parrish (Michael) and Eric Strickland (Michelle); and his brother Harvey Rodgers (Shirley). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
