He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis John Boehringer, Jr. and Wanda Deloris Wedemeyer (Tippin). He is survived by: his children, Toni Pennell (Roger) and Matt Boehringer (Tammy); his grandchildren, Madison Pennell, Gauge Pennell (Bella Ayala), Blake Boehringer, Haylee Boehringer and Hayden Boehringer; and his sisters, Sherry Erickson (David) and Wendy Ryan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, many friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post #164.
