He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa "Terri" Compton; and his mother Violet "Vi" Compton. He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Adkins (Scott Seitz) and Amber Compton (Todd Swan); his grandson Devin Compton; his sisters, Cne Sheridan and Anita Scott; and his grandchildren, Kristen Adkins (Kyle Scarberry), Stephanie Jones (Daniel), Josiah Garrett and Sadie Compton. He is also survived by cousins, and three great-grandchildren.
