It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Ray Thompson of Grove City, Ohio, born in Flatwoods, Kentucky, who passed away on December 8, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James Howard; his wife Dee; his brothers, Michael Howard, James Thompson and Robert Thompson; and his brother-in-law Joe Bush.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Carothers (John) of Ashville and Timothy Thompson (Jackie) of Obetz; his grandchildren, Brooke Cruise (Blake), Brad, Brenna Carothers and Karly Ries (Kelsey); and his siblings, Donald Thompson (Cappie), Katrina Hamilton (Paul) and Katherine Bush. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
