She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmet Preston and Lucille Kaelin Preston of Columbus; her former husband Morrell "Skip" Miller; and her stepgreat-grandson Cameron Shaw. She is survived by: her children, Lynn L. Miller of Grove City and Dr. Michael Miller (Colleen) of Little Rock, AR; her stepchildren, Mark Valentine (Candy) of Grove City and Janet Pander (John) of Douglasville, GA; her sister-in-law Marian Valentine Edwards of Gahanna; her cousin Martha Kaelin Jones of The Villages, FL; her grandchildren, Michael Miller and Rev. Michaelene Miller-Perez (Ernest); and her stepgrandchildren, Greg Valentine, Jeff Valentine (Kelley), Ashley Wilson (Bill), Amanda Parsons, Brian Parsons (Elizabeth), Chris Parsons (Kristi) and Che Shaw. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
