He is survived by: his children, Matthew Hale Jr. (LeAnna), Douglas Hale and Regina Hale; his grandchildren, Torie, Alex, Tracey, Vada, Lucy, Darleene, Logan, Jayde and Landyn; and his siblings, Melvin Hale, Diana Oney (Tom), Rita Gayheart (Bernie) and Paula Brousseau (Leo).
