She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Hale; her children, Alan Hale, Rodney Hale, Robert Hale and Rose Mary; her grandson Thomas Scott Oney; her great grandchild Daytona Matthew Hale; her father Melvin Whitcher; her stepfather Eugene Turner; her mother Jane Etta Turner (Lott); her brother Melvin Whitcher Jr.; and her stepbrothers, David Turner and Walter Turner.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Oney (Tom) of Plymouth, Rita Gayheart (Bernie) of Shelby, Paula Brousseau (Leo) of Greenwich, Matthew Hale of Greenwich and Melvin Hale (Teresa) of Greenwich; her half-brothers, Gene Turner (Vicki) of Elyria and Joe Turner of Florida; and her sister Lucy Takacs of Elyria. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
