She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Vernon May; and her siblings, Erma Coy, Evelyn Wacker, Helen Miller, Ruth Witt, Howard Wolfe, Margery Bellamy and Almeta Thomas.

She is survived by: her children, Rodney May (Debra) of Greenwich, Lisa Ray (Steve) of North Fairfield and Michele Rogers (Mike) of Fairfax, Virginia; her grandchildren, Shannon, Jennifer, Kristin, James, Lauren and Wayne; and her great grandchildren, Cory, Jamie, Sierra, Anthony, Savannah and Levi. She is also survived by 2 great-great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
