He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth John (Urban) and Paul Maurer Sr. John; and his wife Kathleen Maurer (Traub). He is survived by: his children, Michael, Kevin, Dusty, Shawn Maurer and Amber Cooper; his stepchildren, Matthew Mahl and Belinda Conley; and his siblings, Chris Williams, Kathy Pate, Joe Maurer, Steve Maurer and Jim Maurer. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
