We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2021, at the age of 88, Gertrude Handshoe of Greenwich, Ohio, born in Hueysville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Suell Griffith and Minnie Griffith (Smith); her daughter Brenda Vanderpool; and her siblings, Dolly Handshoe, Mable Mohl, Laura Conley, Marie Handshoe, Chester Griffith and Bill Griffith.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Roar (Dave) of Kentucky and Larry Handshoe (Maxine) of Indiana; her son-in-law Tim Vanderpool Sr. of Greenwich; her grandchildren, Wendy McCrea, Tim Vanderpool Jr., Angie Handshoe, Abigail Handshoe, Rachel Roar, Caleb Roar and Jack Handshoe; and her great grandchildren, Silas Cole, Josiah Vanderpool, London Vanderpool, Easton Handshoe, Cree Rose Wilson, Walker McCrea and Wayne McCrea.
In accordance with COVID guidelines, masks and social distancing measures will be expected during the service and at the graveside.
