He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Barnes and Margaret Barnes; his wife Bonnie; his stepsister Joyce Dillman; and his half-brothers, Larry Inscho and Reed Chave.
He is survived by: his children, Traci Thorpe (Russ) of Grafton, Toni Whitelock of Greenwich and David (Bridget) of Taylorsville, KY. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 18 great- great grandchildren.
