He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Buchy and Onda Buchy; his wife Phyllis; his sister Kay Birt; his siblings-in-law, Jeannie Hangen, Janet Berner, Dick Birt, Richard Hangen and Jack Berner; and his son-in-law Jim Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Buchy (Joyce), Pam Long (Neil) and Marsha Brown; his grandchildren, Jason Long (Nicole), Justin Long (Beth), Jon, Julie Long, Ryan Brown (Julie), Adam Brown and Andrea Depompei (Zach); and his great grandchildren, Ayden, Ava Long, Reagan Long, Jack Long, Logan, Emma, Kaylie, Lucas Brown, Grayson and Jace DePompei.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home (1499 N Broadway St, Greenville, OH 45331). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
