He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Goodpaster and Mildred "Betty" Goodpaster (Gossitt); his siblings, Jeannie Flynn, Cynthia Barber, Mark Goodpaster and Tyrone Goodpaster; and his nephew Michael Brooks.
He is survived by: his children, Chassidy Holland (Matthew Harrison) of Portland, Belinda Goodpaster of New Castle and Shawn Penkal; his grandchildren, Thomas Walk II (Taylor Fraizure) of Portland, Autumn Yohe of Portland, Noah Harrison (Lee Segial) of Winchester, Adrian Holland of Portland and Gaven Combs of Anderson; his great grandchildren, Dakken, Kaylou, Thomas III, River and Anna; his sister Camillia Pflum of Richmond, Indiana; and also, Jim, Teresa Thompson, Melissa "Mel" Bowman and David Roustio.
