He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Darrell and Jane Ann Young (Alexander). He is survived by: his wife Julie Young (Bauer); his daughters, Elizabeth Schreier, Sarah Kirkpatrick, Jessica Young and Hannah Arnold; and his sister Patricia "Trish" Young. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
