He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Herman and JoAnn "Truitt" Whittington; and his daughter Jacquelyn Whittington. He is survived by: his wife Letha Jean "Weimer" Whittington; his children, Mary Chalfin (Greg) of Indianapolis Indiana, Thomas Whittington of Hollansburg Ohio, Rebecca Whittington and Sharli Phillips of Hollansburg Ohio; his grandchildren, Donald, Zachery Delarwelle, Elijah, Micah Cohan, Kye Whittington, Keenan, Aiden, Asher Strauss, Maggie, Johnny Phillips and Marc Hopkins; and his siblings, Sherri Burge, Dixie Whittington, Herman Whittington (Lynn) and Darrin Whittington (Carla).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ft Jefferson UMC and St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
