Shirma J Pence Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirma J Pence of Greenville, Ohio, who passed away on July 26, 2024 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirma J Pence to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Anderson Davis and Edith Iona Davis (Contrell); her husband John "Jack" Pence; her sons, Bruce Gower and Jeffrey Gower; and her siblings, Alva Raymond Davis, Agnes "Peggy" Davis Stayton (Johnny), Elsie Davis Howard (Robert), Esther Davis Starbuck (Glen), Vera Davis Eichhorn (Elmer), Richard Davis (Doris), Donald Davis (Phyllis), Lloyd Davis and Beverly Davis Wade (Don).

She is survived by: her children, Richard "Rick" Gower (Isabel Raci) of Libertyville, IL., August, Whitman, Issac, S. C., Nathan Gower of Shelby, N. C. and Nicholas Gower (Diana); her granddaughter Nola of Chapel Hill, N. C.; her daughters, Elizabeth Gower of San Francisco, CA and Rebecca Gower Fife (Nolan); and her grandchildren, Abigail and Annalee of Vermillion, S. D.. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, all funds collected will be used to donate a Buckeye tree to be planted in the Greenville City Park in Shirma's honor.
