He was predeceased by: his parents, John Boyd and Lucille Boyd (Campbell); his wife Margaret "Peg" E. Boyd (Mendenhall); his siblings, Betty Boyd, John Junior Boyd (Florance), Ruth Reigle (Bill), George Boyd (Mary), Mary Alice Cash (Jay), Charlie Boyd (Betty) and James "Jim" Boyd (Pat); and his brothers-in-law, Duke Retz, Jim Myers and Ralph Henizer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gloria Bohn (Steve) of Greenville and Debbie Warner (Dwight) of Arcanum, Ohio; his grandchildren, Robert Boyd, III (Julie) of Arcanum, Paul Boyd (Tracy) of Texas, Bridget Haney (Mike) of Piqua, Christi Bohn (Curt) of California, Stephanie McConachie (Mark) of New Paris, David Bohn of Miamisburg, Sarah Eley (Eric) of New Madison, Chad Warner (Michelle) of Arcanum, Alicia Rhymer (Brock) of Colorado and April Coover (Travis) of Texas; and his siblings, Rosanna "Tiny" Retz of Winchester, Beverly "Pedad" Myers of Portland and Patty Lou Henizer of Portland, Indiana.. He is also survived by his 23 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
