He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Barga and Ellen Barga (Bulshire); his grandson Matthew Teaford; his stepson Brian Harleman; and his son-in-law Alvin "Tiny" Kanorr.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Barga (Vititoe); his children, Kathy Kanorr, Bob Barga, Jr. (Sherry), Chuck Barga (Lisa), Cheryl Harleman and Christi Teaford (Todd); his grandchildren, Jaron, Dustin, Marshall Kanorr, Robbie Barga (Leah), Shelby Luth (Zeb), Chuck Barga, Jr., Ty Teaford, Siera Wilder (Bill), Cody Fleming (Jenna) and Brandi Fleming (Darrel Aaron); his sister Rose Pursley; and his siblings-in-law, Rita Poland (Clyde), Marcie Bethel, Becky Hummel, Robin Apgar (Pete), Larry Vititoe (Barb), Scott Vititoe, Mick Vititoe (Teresa) and Chuck Vititoe (Christine). He is also survived by his 10 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
