He is survived by: his siblings, Orvan Leroy Gunckle, Ray Allen Gunckle, Glenn Harold Gunckle, Thelma Mae Sullenbarger (Gunckle) and Marjorie Mae Cress (Gunckle); his children, Bill Gunckle (Sandy) of Greenville, Rick Gunckle (Cheryl) of Greenville and Jerry Gunckle (Angie) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Amy Smith (Kevin), Robert Gunckle (Jennifer), Jessica Hudkins (Carl), Justin Gunckle and Jonathan Gunckle; his great grandchild Violet Smith; and his sister-in-law Kathleen Gunckle (Kinnison).
