He was predeceased by: his father James; his daughter Angel Rodrigues; his brother Anthony "Tony" Shannon; and his siblings-in-law, Ben Seger, Mervin Spencer, Jackie Shannon and Leandra Rodrigues.
He is survived by: his children, Nicki Cook (Scoob) of New Madison, Robert Rodrigues Jr. (Diann) of Versailles and Jay B. Rodrigues of West Manchester, Ohio; his grandchildren, Logan Rodrigues, Damion Cook (Lexie), Corey Rodrigues, Camden Cook, Elizabeth Rodrigues, Haven Rodrigues and Havenlee Rodrigues; his great grandchild Nash Cook; and his siblings, Patricia Seger of Russia, James "Sparky" Rodrigues of Hawaii, Cynthia Spencer of Hawaii, Marleen Quiroz (Gilbert) of Hawaii and Deborah Yau of Hawaii. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
