He is survived by: his children, Richard L. Melling, Jr. (Rita), Susan Whittaker (Jerry) and Roger Melling (Christy); his grandchild Shawnda Slivinski (Bill); his children, Billy Floyd (Tammy), Angie Floyd, Lindsey Melling (August Millman) and Aaron Melling; his great grandchild Brandy Rose Newberry; his grandchildren, Sara Floyd, Olivia, Aubrey and Chloe Melling; and his siblings, Bob Melling, Louise Hillman, Galen Melling and Larry Melling. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and family.
