He is survived by: his wife Sarah Gustafson; his son Alan Gustafson of Columbus, Ohio; his stepsons, Christopher Whaley (Sarah) of Woodridge, Illinois, Daniel Whaley (Stacey) of Arcanum, Ohio and Brent Whaley (Nicole) of Morrow, Ohio; his grandchildren, Kaden, Hilayna, Lance, Delia, Eliza, Emma, Hannah and Lillian; and his siblings, Robert Gustafson (Jody) of Manchester, Connecticut, Dianne Vermilya of Kirtland, Ohio and David Gustafson (Brenda) of Hendersonville.
