He was predeceased by: his parents, Reese Staley and Mabel Staley. He is survived by: his wife Fairy Kay Staley (Locke); his children, Glen Staley of Greenville, Candy Clopp (Patrick) of Greenville and Randy Staley of Merced, CA.; his brother George Staley of Richmond; and his grandsons, Timothy Clopp (Holly) of Arcanum and Nathan Clopp (Sarah) of Fairborn. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
