She was predeceased by: her parents, Milford Herkins and Mabel Herkins; her husband Joe Hess; and her son Jay Hess. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Whitmer, Terry Hess (Barb), Tom Hess (Jeanne), Roger Hess (Ilene), Herb Hess and Judy Gainey (Ken). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; Numerous great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
