He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Carpenter and Hilda Carpenter (Smith); and his brothers-in-law, Robert Hughes, Kenneth Flood and Tom Hope.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Carpenter (Alexis Bingham) and Megan Gower (Raymond); his grandchildren, Bryson, Ashtyn and Weston Gower; and his sisters, Patricia Hope, Portia Hughes and Priscilla Flood. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
