She was predeceased by: her parents, J. L. Bixler and Flossie Bixler (Byers); her husband Henry W. Schafer; and her siblings, Lester Bixler, Lucille Graves, Vernon Bixler and Ione Merering.
She is survived by: her children, Harold Schafer (Judy) of Ansonia and Georgianna Crawford (Marvin) of Greenville; and her grandchildren, Laura Bryson (Loren), Paulette Myers (Jeff), Kathy Hetzler (Dan) and Bradley Hatch (Athena). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
