She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Applegate and Grace Applegate (Brumbaugh); her husband Glenn P. Showalter of Greenville; her son G. Marc Showalter; and her sisters, Mary Shields and Winifred Netzley.
She is survived by: her daughter Amy Renae Showalter; her children-in-law, Randy Boyer of Cincinnati and Angela Showalter of Columbus; and her grandsons, Alex James Miller of Columbus and Paxton Glenn Showalter of Columbus. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
