With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Norma C Helstern of Greenville, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Norma left this world on December 26, 2024 at the age of 98, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard S. and Mary E. Cassell (Wenger); her husband Rollie M. Helstern; her children, Daryl Helstern and Marjorie Nichols; her children-in-law, Sandy Helstern and Clayton Nichols; her granddaughter Beth Ann Nichols; and her siblings, Merlin, Jesse, Donald, Bernis Cassell and Lois Evelyn Mergler.

She is survived by: her son Paul; her daughter-in-law Nancy Helstern of Rochester, IN; her daughter Judith; and her son-in-law Alan Culley of Springfield. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Salem Church of the Brethren memorial fund.

“Sure going to Miss Norma. I went to see her at the Brethren Home we had a good visit every time I visited her. Norma loved watching Wheel of Fortune and guessing the puzzles. Sometimes Norma would guess the puzzle or I would guess the puzzle. Norma loved it when I bought her tomatoes in. Norma would either eat them in her room or have the cook make her a BLT sandwich. Rest In Peace Norma God was listening to you.God finally gave ya your wings so you can fly.God said its Your time now. Prayers for the Family .God Bless you in your time of need”
