She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Napier and Florence Fugate Napier; her husband Russell R. Nixon; and her siblings, Jesse, Brack, Ruby, Charlie, Chester and Brock.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Nixon (Kelley), Donna Brookshire (Darrell), Greg Nixon (Amanda) and Deborah Nixon; and her sister Martha Harrison of Lexington, KY. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
